Donations
Simply drive to our drop-off point at the Recycling Centre, and our friendly staff will be there to assist.
To make sorting easier, we have crates labelled for clothing, small electricals, toys, DVDs/CDs, and books. Mixed general donations can be left on the shelving under the covered area.
We also accept furniture donations at our drop-off point – please ask a member of staff to be shown the best place to leave it.
What Can I Donate?
We are pleased to accept almost anything at Moray Waste Busters – including household items, bric-a-brac, clothing and accessories, toys, games, tools, DIY supplies, garden items, kitchenware, electrical appliances, books, CDs/DVDs, and sports equipment. If you’re unsure, just ask a staff member or give us a ring on 01309 676056 before you visit.
Is there anything we can’t accept?
There are a few items we cannot accept at Moray Waste Busters –
- Used mattresses
- Flat-packed furniture that has been dismantled
- Upholstered furniture now must comply with POPs legislation and cannot have rips or tears, cat scratches, stains, cigarette odour, obvious wear, or lack a fire safety label.
- Large household electrical appliances, such as fridges and washing machines.
- Large wall units
- Pianos
- We cannot accept items that are dirty, broken, missing parts, or have reached the end of their useful life.
Do you have larger items you would like to donate?
No problem – we have a free uplift service and a comprehensive house clearance service.
